Tatoo on point at the Coupe d'Europe in the Czech Republic, April 2008.

For the first time in history the USA was allowed to compete in the European Cup for Continental Breeds held this year in the Czech Republic. With Tatoo and Ultra both having the qualifications necessary to be entered in this competition, Bill was approved to represent the USA with our dogs. Fourteen different countries were represented. We are very happy to report that Tatoo won a TRES BON in the Coupe. We are very proud that Tatoo was one of the eight dogs that qualified in this exclusive group of the best dogs of the world! Prior to competing in the Euro Cup, Tatoo competed in some spring trials in France and won 1 EXC and 3 TRES BONS as well.

UKC Champion

Tatoo, handled by Bill, received a CACT in France in the field trial at Fontaine 3/24/05!! This was a first for any American owned dog. Tatoo has earned his TRIALER title in France in 2004 by competing in both spring and fall field trials and was awarded an "Excellent" and a trophy at the French club's big specialty trial in Vimpelles. Tatoo was judged by M. Riva, a specialist in the breed and has received CACS in two separate beauty shows in France - and all this prior to turning 2 years old! After winning an Excellent at the 2005 French National Breed Show he is now officially ranked as a RECOMMENDED SIRE by the CEB of France.  We are very pleased and proud to add these lines and this exceptional specimen of the breed to our kennel.

Bill is the first American handler to actively campaign in French field trials and the first to win a CACT with an American owned dog. The judge, M. Louis, told Mr. Gubbe, who presented Bill with Tatoo's trophy, that Tatoo ran an excellent course perfectly and was an excellent Breton. Tatoo had three excellent points during his run, and at distances that they all required the couler.
